Stevie Wonder – Innervisions

I told you there would be more from Stevie’s 70’s run of albums here. “Innervisions” is the peak of that run. There aren’t many absolutely perfect albums out there, but this is one. Flawless from the first note to the last.

“Innervisions” sees Wonder find his perfect sound. Clavinet mastery with bass lines that accentuate beautifully. The album has hit-power with “Don’t You Worry ‘Bout A Thing,” “Living For The City,” and “Higher Ground,” and it is impossible to find an underwhelming or out of place song elsewhere.

Besides those already mentioned, standout tracks include, “Visions,” “Too High” and “All In Love Is Fair.”
